Production Coordinator Role
Job Description
Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time W-2 Employee (40 hours/week). This is a temp-to-hire position with an initial engagement period of approximately 6 months, with the goal of transitioning to a permanent salaried role based on mutual fit and performance.

We’re looking for a Production Coordinator who can keep our workflows organized while supporting our creative and business operations.
The Role: You’ll support our production and business operations, ensuring our systems stay efficient and no details get lost in the shuffle. We’re looking for someone who finds as much satisfaction in a perfectly organized Airtable base as they do in helping a story come together. This is a position for a highly organized, creative individual with the aptitude to grow into a well-rounded producer.
Who you are:
● 3-5 years minimum of experience in video production
● Experience working in digital media or branded content
● Strong organizational and time-management skills
● Hybrid thinker who excels at organization AND creative tasks
● Passionate about climate and sustainability
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
● Skilled at written and verbal communication
● A master multi-tasker with the ability to work calmly under pressure
● Self-starter who can manage remote workflows
What you’ll be doing:
● Production & Shoot Logistics: Managing production calendars, call sheets, bookings, and appearance releases. You will handle travel booking for the team and oversee shoot logistics like permits and gear rentals.
● Creative Development: Subject research, treatment writing and editing, and moodboard creation.
● On-Set Coordination: Providing on-site support during shoots to ensure everything runs on schedule and talent/crew have what they need. This may involve travel.
● Post-Production Support: Handling Quality Control (QC) and captioning for our videos, scheduling post-production work, and staffing personnel for editing and graphic needs.
● Business & Admin Support: Acting as a bridge for our bookkeepers and admin team. This includes organizing credit card receipts, tracking project costs, and helping with vendor onboarding and 401k paperwork.
● Newsletter & Social: Supporting our content output by research, proofreading, and scheduling our weekly newsletter and social posts.
● Team Logistics: Helping plan team events and managing company swag and gifting.
Tools we use (We’ll teach you our system):
● Airtable, Slack, and G-Suite.
● Support tools like Gusto, Bill.com, and Docusign.
● Familiarity with Adobe CC, Canva, or Descript is a major plus.
